Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox was born in Aberdeen Scotland on December 25 1954. Dorothy Farquharson and Thomas Allison Lennox are her parents. Lennox was a student for three years in the Royal Academy of Music London in the 1970s, was admitted. Her budget was supplemented by a stipend to students as well as part-time employment. Lennox, while studying in the Royal Academy of Music in London, was not happy about her performances as compared to the performance of her peers. Then she began to consider alternatives. Lennox began her career as musician with the group Dragons Playground. However she left prior to the group's appearance on I.T.V.s talent show New Faces. The singer was the primary vocalist of The Tourists a British pop group from 1977 until the year 1980. Here she met Dave Stewart who would later form Eurythmics. Lennox was working on her own debut album Diva. The album was released in 1993. The album was a massive hit as well as the sales as well as critical acclaim. Nostalgia Lennoxs six-album solo was released in the month of October 2014. included Nostalgia Lennox. The C.D. The C.D. is comprised of Lennox's favourite blues, jazz, and soul songs from her youth. The E.P. is her debut independent album and a companion to her art work made at Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art entitled Now I Let you go...
