| Anna Paquin (n e Paquin) is a New Zealand-Canadian actor and actress. It was fate that took over. It wasn't her intention to be an actor however, it happened. After her successful debut her debut, she was contacted by many companies but declined them to continue her education. After her debut film was a success aged 14 she was offered roles in Jane Eyre as well as the Fly Away Homefilm series. In 2000, she portrayed Rogue, the powerful mutant Roguein the XMen films series. Her role upon landed her in the limelight. Her role was reprised as Roguein sequels such as X2and X-Men The Final Stand.She has also had brief appearances on screen, most notably in Elaine Goodalein in Bury My Heart at Wounded Kneefor which she was awarded her first Emmynomination. Then she received a flood of offers to act in TV series and was eventually cast for shows such as True Bloodand Flack. |
